Fighting rural poverty is everybody's mission

What I learned covering my first UN conference, at the International Fund for Agricultural Development, in Rome

ROME - The role of youth in agriculture, the risks of climate change, the challenges of food security and the fight againts rural poverty around the globe. These were some of the subjects I and other 13 journalists discussed in Rome, Italy, in early February. We attended a conference of the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the IFAD, the UN agency dedicated to eradicating poverty and hunger in rural areas of developing countries.
